He published in 1997 a first historic and scientific investigation CD-ROM in French language on this subject, followed by an English and Spanish Versions in an easy-to-use PC-compatible format. The investigation represents several years of « in-situ » research on the official or secret travels of the Shroud (or Mandylion), in Greece, Cyprus, Istanbul, through the Midle East, in France and Italy. Mr. Gazay has completed his personnal research by about 2 years of bibliographic research on the Web. The various scientific and historic documents included in this CD-ROM are issued from this research. Next July, with the support of the association working for the renovation of « Sainte Marie du Menez-Hom » chapel and the Brittany Tourist Office, François Gazay gives a video-conference of about 2-hours on a stone Mandylion he found in Brittany and on its relations with the Turin Shroud and the Templar Knights. He is an active member of the Shroud Science Group since 2003. In 2004, he approached the Monks of Solesmes Abbey and the Prioress of Meaux Carmel about a scientific analysis to be organised by this Group on a 19th century miracle.
